Community initiatives
SeaChoice recognizes that many community groups are actively working to protect the health of our oceans, educate the public and raise awareness about how to make more sustainable seafood choices. The science-based information provided in the SeaChoice wallet card and database has been developed to further the efforts of community initiatives like these.
If your group would like to partner with SeaChoice there are many ways we can work together-partners can distribute Canada’s Seafood Guide cards, we can help you work with local restaurants and retailers or hold public education sessions.
We are open to your ideas and invite interested groups to contact us directly via info@seachoice.org. We would be pleased to send you SeaChoice products: Canada’s Seafood Guide is designed to help consumers purchase ocean-friendly seafood, and SeaChoice drop cards can be distriubted to gently encourage retailers to source sustainable seafood.
